Sahaj New Year in the United Arab Emirates

With the Blessings of H.H.Shri Mataji, the year 2007 commenced on a grand note for Sahaj activities in the UAE. Our collective had a very busy, vibrant weekend on 18-19-20 January. By the 20th of January which is celebrated as the Islamic New Year according to the Hijri Calender, more than 1000 realizations were given.
1. The Wellbeing Show
This Show was organized by the Government of Dubai at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 18, 19 and 20 January. Besides residents of the UAE, the Show also attracted tourists from all over the world including the neighboring Gulf Countries.
A Sahaja Yoga stall was set up inside the show on all the three days.
Close to 500 people took their realization and felt the cool vibrations.
The Show included other activities like press conferences & coverage, a TV program on Sahaja Yoga and on-show presentations during the days of the program.
A full fledged follow up schedule is arranged for further action.
2. Public Program in Ras Al Khaimah
The program was held in the Indian Association Hall on 18 January. Radio broadcasts on two languages were aired on 17 & 18 January across the Gulf region.
Over 500 people including a large number of students attended the program.
The follow up program was undertaken on 21 January. The good news is that the weekly Center has since started in Ras Al Khaimah on 26 January.
3. Public Program in Fujairah
This was organized by the Fujairah Collective (who themselves are a new Collective) on 19 January.
The follow up program was undertaken on 20 January. Like all the other programs the hall was filled with Vibrations. Effective follow up is scheduled for the coming weeks during the weekly Centers.
4. Ladies Meditation Group
On the evening of 20 January, a Sahaja Yoga program took place in Sharjah with a small group of Arabic ladies.
All the happenings were spontaneous. The week wore a festive look with Sahaj programs all around.
Sahaja Yoga is now present in 4 Emirates with 6 Centers. We pray with all our heart for Her message of World Peace to spread to all the 7 Emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al Qwain and Ajman.
