Sir CP Srivastava has been nominated for Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award for excellence in Public Administration , Academics and Management.-for 2004 . (This award has been named and honoured after late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri erstwhile Prime Minister of India) .
Sir CP shall be conferred upon this presitigious award by the President of India , H.E. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on First of October 2005, in the President's house, Delhi, India, where Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India along with other important ministers are invited to attend the ceremony.
This award is being conferred upon Sir CP Srivastava for his invaluable contribution towards Public Administration , Academics and management in India and abroad. Sir. CP Srivastava will be the sixth recipient of this presitigious award after renowned recepients like Prof. CK Prahlad , Sam Petroda, NR.Narayan Murthy, Dr. RA Mashlekar , Smt Ila Ramesh Bhatt, in this line of excellence.
Further, in his honour, Sir C.P. has been invited for a lecture on the topic Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri 's Vision and its relevence to India today hosted by the Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi, Shasrti Sadan, Sector III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi, www.lbsim.edu in the Kamani Auditorium, Mandi House, Delhi on Third of October for felicitating him on the receipt of the prestigious award conferred upon him by the President of India on 1st October 2005. |
