Sahaj trip to Syria

In January 16 yogis from Turkey went to Damascus, Syria to spread there the message of our Holy Mother. As the regime in the country is quite strict, and they have sheriat, first we started the subtle vibrational work. Every morning we would do puja and every evening havan. And in the day time the city was vibrated with the joy of the yogis who were blessed to become Shri Mataji's channel in this country, where Sahaja Yoga had not yet come.

Soon vibrations started to change, became much lighter, and we started to give Self-Realization. That was really very easy, people there are simple and open. They just open their hands, desire the avakening of their inner spiritual power, and they feel it. Unlike other Arab countries, Syria is not rich, and maybe that's why people are humble, open and friendly. One feels really nice among them. Totally some 40 to 60 people got their self-realization.

We hope that this seed will start growing fast. One yogini decided to stay in Damascus to help establish Sahaja Yoga there. She will be learning Arabic. Please give bandhans to support her with vibrations. And of course, if somebody wishes to join her and stay for some time in Damascus that would be very great. Anyone who wants to help in any way may contact the Turkish collective at nesealgan@superonline.com.

During the whole trip we felt Mother's attention on us. Even the nature was responding. In these 4 days it was snowing, raining, there was a storm - the nature was washing itself. When we came back home, we read in the news that it had rained in Mecca - a very rare event for this time of a year. And it was just the time of Hajj, pilgrimage of Muslims to the holy places - what a 'coincidence'.

A few impressions about Syria. It is a big mixture of cultures, traditions, peoples. While most of the population is Muslim (which includes many different factions) there is also quite a big Christian population. All they live in the same country and, as far as we could see, there is no tension between them. Syria has a very rich history, the ways of many saints and prophets have passed there: Zeynab (Hzarat Ali and Fatima's doughter), Hazrat Huseyin (their son, an incarnation of the disciple principle), John the Baptist and many others.

There is a place in the city about which Prophet Mohammed is beleived to have said that Messyah will descend on it at the time of Kayamat (the Last Jugmenent). Now there is a minaret there.

Outside Damascus, in the mountains there is a willage whose history is related with a Christian saint. Accordig to the legend, he was chased by Muslims who were trying to kill him. Then he prayed to Jesus Christ to save him. At that very moment the mountain split and he entered into the opening. Nowbody has seen him after that. Vibrations in that willage are really wonderfull, a very pure and peaceful place.

May the love of our Holy Mother Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi awaken this ancient country and may all the seekers there get their salvation.

Bolo Shri Adi Shakti Mataji Shri Nirmala Devi ki Jai !!!
