Earth Day was first conceived to celebrate the wonders of life on our planet
and the first Earth Day celebration was initiated on May 21st 1970. The Vernal
Equinox is quite an interesting day it terms of our season, it is the first moment
of Spring, when day and night are of equal length around the world and hearts
and minds can join together with thoughts of harmony and of the Earth's rejuvenation.

This
day hundreds, thousands, millions of people throughout the world join in
peaceful thoughts and prayers to nurture neighbor and nature. How appropriate
and meaningful it was to have a Sahaja Yoga booth on this Earth day event?
The entire collective of New York cooperated in this great event that fulfilled
out hearts with complete joy during the weekend of April 24th and 25th in the
Grand Central Station located at 42 Street, right in the midst of Manhattan.
The booth of Sahaja Yoga stood apart from all the rest. It was packed with
people from all over the world and on many occasions the security people had
to come asking to let the flow of people go as the aisles were blocked due
to people having their Self-realization and others awaiting their turn.

Though the stand was very small, we managed to place 6 little chairs around
it and from 11am up to 5pm there was non-stop Self-realization going on.
People from all walks of life, of all religions and countries received their
Self-realization as well as most of the event’s organizers as well as
the staff of the other stands. There were even a few Catholic nuns who experienced
it too.
By the time the event was due to be over on Sunday at 5pm and the rest of
the stands were already taken down ours was still full of people sitting having
their realization.
About 400 the 500 people GOT IT!
From this little part of the world, we had the feeling that people are every
time more and more open to receive the light of the spirit and finally get
out of the darkness.
Sakshat Shri Adi Shakti Mataji Shri Nirmala Devi Ki! Jai!
With love,
From brothers and sisters
