The Birthday Puja in Delhi on March 21st starts at 8:45 pm with the three mahamantras.
The gathering collective outside and inside the main pendal goes into a meditative state with a number of bhajans sung by the musical choir. It begins with Sitting in the Heart of the Universe.
With this, the sounds of the crackers burst open and the sky is filled with a beautiful fireworks show. The band welcomes Our Divine Mother.
As Shri Mataji blesses the collective with Her Divine presence on the stage at 9:30, She looks happy and pleased and composed with divine grace touching upon every heart.
 Shri Mataji blesses the collective with Her amrut vani (speech of the divine nectar) for twenty-five to thirty minutes. The talk is not only very powerful, but also full of compassion and humility. There are fountain of showers of blessings from Shri Adi Shakti for all the Sahaja Yogis across the globe, for all who are attending this puja in Her Form or in Her Formless dimension this day.
And then puja starts with the washing of Her Holy Lotus Feet by twenty-one children, followed by the Shringar of the Devi performed by seven married yoginis (four from the hosting country of India and three from outside India).
The puja at Her Holy Lotus Feet commences with bhajans and concludes with the aarti at 11:55.
Then follows the event for which the collective was so long waiting – the birthday celebration of Shri Adi Shakti.
The choir sings as the collective cheered with “Happy birthday to Shri Mataji ” until the Adi Shakti blows out the candle and cuts the piece from the large cake placed before Her.
Next, comes the turn of Sir C.P. Srivastava, whose birthday is also celebrated, as he blows out the candle and cuts a piece of the cake placed in front of him. He carries it by his own hand and personally offers to Shri Mataji amidst the cheers and applause of the collective. This is followed by bhajans.
With this, Shri Mataji takes a break along with Her family, Sir C.P. and Kalpana Didi, in the adjoining resting room. Night grows chillier, as the puja continues.
Then comes the turn of offering gifts from various countries across the globe and concludes with the Yuva Shakti from India getting their new website (SITA India) launched and inaugurated by Shri Mataji, as She blesses the Yuva Shakti and expresses Her happiness over the work.
The puja concludes with Her departure at 4:25 am on March 22nd.
The collective carries back home wonderful memories and many blessings showered upon each of us present and not present in person in that venue. We, on behalf of world Sahaja Yogis, thank Shri Mataji from our heart for this wonderful puja and resolve on this day, as She desired and declared, that each of us shall dedicate ourselves to extend Self Realization to at least one hundred persons across the globe in each year. That is the gift She has desired from us. And I firmly trust and pray, from this day on, with Your blessings, Mother, we shall be Your effective instruments to carry out Your desired mission as our only mission in Sahaja Yoga.
